Rafia Rahim also known as RJ Rafia (Mirchi Rafia) hails from the Charari Sharief area of Budgam district (Kashmir). She is the first radio jockey from Budgam district. Rafia studied Journalism from University of Kashmir. She has also hosted Good Morning J&K show on Doordarshan ( Telecasted everyday morning 8 a.m.) . Soon after her studies she started working with Kashmir reader a local kashmiri newspaper.
Soon after the installation of Radio Mirchi FM station in Kashmir Rafia was appointed as radio jockey. She runs her own show six days a week.
